Marine Authority 2024-08-01
We, Sun Re Ltd, a company incorporated under the laws of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, with its registered office at Hunkins Waterfront Jewels, Main Road, Charlestown, Nevis, West Indies, Company number 42800, do hereby grant a special authority to Messrs. Sun Marine and Trading Management Ltd, with its registered office Suite #1, JHT Executive Suites, Main Road, Stoney Grove, St. John’s Parish, Nevis West Indies, Company number 58255 and hereby appoint them as our true and lawful Portfolio Managers to act on our behalf.
This Authority refers to the acceptance, issuance, underwriting, claims handling, procuring retrocession, collecting subrogations, and everything else related to insurance and reinsurance contracts under approved contracts on risks located Worldwide in the following lines of business:
- Marine: Hull & Machinery,
- Marine: Protection & Indemnity,
- Marine: Loss of Hire,
- Marine: Builder's,
- Marine: Yacht,
- Marine: Cargo,
- Marine: Rolling Stock.
This Authority expressly allows the Portfolio Manager to collect the Premiums due Sun Re as the Portfolio Manager sees fit.
This Authority is effective from August 1, 2024, and is still valid.
